ABSTRACT
This study investigated the effectiveness of a Health Management Excellence Program in enhancing employee resilience at the City of Balanga National High School – Junior High School (COBNHS-JHS). The research addressed a critical gap in the literature concerning the practical implementation of such programs within the Philippine educational sector. A mixed-method approach was employed to examine the program’s impact reflected in themes, focusing on the interplay between demographic factors and resilience levels. The findings revealed that demographic variables, including age and educational attainment, significantly influenced employee resilience. Teaching personnel demonstrated higher resilience compared to non-teaching staff, suggesting a correlation between job roles and coping capacity. Furthermore, the study identified psychological resilience and organizational support as the strongest predictors of overall employee resilience. Employees also expressed a need for holistic support, including mental health services, empathetic leadership, and peer connections. Based on these conclusions, the study proposed several recommendations to enhance the health program, such as tailoring interventions to specific demographic profiles and strengthening psychological support systems. This research contributes valuable empirical evidence to the field, providing a framework for policymakers and administrators to design effective, responsive health management initiatives that foster a resilient educational workforce.
