On a vibrant day at Cupang West, the community witnessed an extraordinary gathering of leaders and educators united by a shared passion for literacy and learning. Dr. Maylene M. Minimo, EdD, CESO VI, Assistant Schools Division Superintendent of DepEd City of Balanga, made a momentous visit to the ‘Kasangga sa Pagbasa’ program, a literacy initiative spearheaded by Ma’am Sonia Labrador, Master Teacher 1 of Cupang Integrated School.
Joining Dr. Minimo were Dr. Ma. Elena V. Medina, Principal of Cupang Integrated School, and Ma’am Mercedita E. Viray, the Assistant Principal. The visit highlighted the steadfast commitment of the school’s administration to fostering a love for reading and academic excellence among learners.
The program, aptly titled ‘Kasangga sa Pagbasa’ (“Partners in Reading”), has been a beacon of hope for the young learners of Cupang West. Its success has been amplified by the unwavering support of Hon. Jessie Jill V.
