ABSTRACT
Culture is an invaluable ancestral heritage. The Philippines has cultural diversity and is unique. Local culture is certainly highly significant because it is a part of the characteristics of the nation. Bataan in Central Luzon is a province with a majestic destination that brings together history, nature, and culture which also has a lot more to offer than meets the eye. The study aimed to assess the validity of the proposed Culture-Based Learning Module in Pre-Calculus in terms of content quality, format, presentation and organization, and instructional capacity of accuracy and up-to-datedness of information. Employing a descriptive-evaluative method through survey questionnaires were utilized to collect data. The sample instructional reference or proposed material was assessed using evaluation ratings or criteria that is adopted from the DepEd-LRMDS. Quantitative data analysis was statistically treated using frequency counts, mean, and standard deviation. Likewise, it also included the significant difference in the assessment of the teachers and experts as validators using T-test with 0.05 level of significance. Findings revealed that the learning module had met the criterion very satisfactory in terms of the criteria. Consequently, the Pre-Calculus learning material emerged as a valuable resource for both educators and learners, as endorsed by the teachers and experts in the field, warranting its recommendation for senior high school students. Furthermore, its utilization can gauge its acceptability among the end-users.
