Instruction, the essential transfer of knowledge or skills, stands as a cornerstone in education. In the context of the EPP/TLE/TVL strand, crucial for imparting job-ready skills in areas such as agriculture, electronics, and trade, practical skills take precedence over theoretical processes (Asuncion, J.G., 2021). This strand’s hallmark is its emphasis on work-readiness, a characteristic that becomes challenging in the landscape of distance learning. Practical skills, often acquired through learning-by doing in workshops or hands-on experiences like work immersion, face significant hurdles in adapting to a virtual environment (Galias, J.T., 2020).

The current education system is beleaguered with various issues and difficulties (Garcia, M.B., 2017), particularly in EPP/TLE/TVL, where face-to-face interactions are pivotal for effective instruction (Asuncion, J.G., 2021). The resultant shift towards online learning, driven by platforms like Google Meet, becomes imperative (Okmawati, M.,2020). Despite these hindrances, the commitment to quality education persists, fueled by the belief that education serves as a great equalizer (Garcia, M.B., 2017).

Google, a leading technology company, has positioned itself as a crucial player in the current educational paradigm. With Google Meet as its virtual communication platform, organizations, schools, and universities have found solace in this tool during the challenges posed by the current predicament. In education, Google Meet emerges as an interactive and alternative platform for online learning, enabling educators to seamlessly continue instructional methods in a virtual setting (Setyawan, A., et al, 2020). This platform not only facilitates traditional lectures but also fosters interactive learning, contributing to improved knowledge acquisition and learning outcomes.

Google Meet’s user-friendly interface makes it a versatile and accessible learning platform for both educators and students. This ease of use facilitates collaborative learning and provides essential support for distance education. The effective utilization of online learning platforms, such as Google Meet, fosters a sense of community among students and educators, united by a shared commitment to enhancing distance educational instruction. As we navigate the challenges of distance learning, the impact of Google Meet on instructional methodologies becomes increasingly evident, paving the
way for a more interactive and engaging educational experience.
